Mentorship Program
CPRS Vancouver relaunched its Mentorship Program in January of this year and the feedback on the program to date has been tremendous. We’ve paired 15 talented student mentees from some of B.C.’s best PR programs with 15 experienced PR pros that encompass independent consultants, the health care sector, agencies, leading Vancouver businesses and major national corporations. We have enjoyed watching their relationships develop over the last few months and you can look forward to updates on the program in upcoming issues of Essentials.
Job Postings
Job postings are still pouring in so if you're ready to take the next step up the corporate ladder or just looking for a change, you've come to the right place. From junior to senior positions at organizations ranging from shipping companies to celebrated not-for-profits, job openings around the Lower Mainland and beyond are listed in our Job Posting area (members-only access).
New System to Measure Editorial Coverage
A new system for measuring editorial coverage has just been developed by the CPRS (National) Measurement Committee. The new system, which has been endorsed the International Association of Business Communicators, will be a useful tool for the qualitative evaluation of any media relations campaign.
